Bing Wang teaches and advises faculty, administrators, and students about intellectual property rights management in the new economy. She promotes alternative publishing models (e.g. open access) and consults on copyright issues. She ensures that GT libraries provide fullest possible access to their collections within the confinement of copyright law. Also as a library faculty member, Bing teaches research strategies in chemistry and chemical engineering. She has extensive experience in chemical information retrieval and management. Bing earned her J.D. in 2015 from Georgia State University, her M.L.I.S. in 2004 from San Jose State University, her M.S. in Chemistry in 2003 from University of California, Riverside, and her B.S. in Chemistry in 2001 from Jilin University, Changchun, China. She is a member of the Georgia Bar.
